Flue Liner 316L for Gas and Oil (316L Grade) 8 inch

** Flue Liner 316L for Gas and Oil (316L Grade)

Suitable for use on appliances fired by gas ( as specified by the fire manufacturer ), and oils up to 28 second.

APPLICATION
A single skin flexible flue liner suitable for relining within a masonry chimney. Suitable for use on appliances fired by gas ( as specified by the fire manufacturer ), and oils up to 28 second, and designed to accommodate temperatures not exceeding 260°C.

CONSTRUCTION
The flue liner is manufactured from 316L grade stainless steel and is 0.10mm thick. The flue liner has five convoluteions between each seam. The Flue Liner seam is folded in three planes to give a TRIPLELOCK seal.

APPROVAL
TRIPLELOCK Flue Liner is Kitemarked to BS 715 and has been approved and tested to BS EN 1856:2

DESIGNATION NUMBER
BS EN 1856:2 T250 N1 D V3 L50010 G

INSTALLATION - CHECK LIST
1.Make sure the liner will go down the chimney (this can be done by pulling down a small section of the diameter liner you will be using)
2.Sweep your chimney.
3.Check you pot is in good condition, if you are NOT using a suspended cowl then remove the pot from the stack.

INSTALLATION
Flue Liner should always be fitted from the top.
Secure a piece of string (at least the same length as the Flue Liner to the Nose Cone (order separately).
Now attach the Nose Cone onto the end of the Flue Liner
Pull the liner down the chimney using the string and at the same time have someone at the top of the chimney feeding the Flue Liner down, once the Flue Liner is fitted remove the Nose Cone. If necessary cut the flue liner to length, and secure the liner at the top using the clamp plate. Ensure 75mm of the flue liner projects above the clamp plate so that the terminal can be located and secured.
Secure and seal the flue liner to a register plate, which closes off the appliance recess. Alternatively the end of the flue liner can be sealed into flue pipe or a Flue Gas Collector or Flue Box.
Terminate the flue liner by securley fitting the terminal to the projecting section of flue liner. Apply a suitable cement as a seal and weather proof render.

MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that chimneys serving gas and oil appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.

45° Tee c/w Clean Out Door 7 inch

** 45° Tee c/w Clean Out Door
A 45° / 135° Tee and Tee Cap.
A Joint Clamp Band is required to fix this item to the next.

APPLICATION
Suitable for gas, oil and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 750 degrees C.
1mm Stainless Steel Stove pipe should only be used as a connecting pipe between your appliance and Flue Liner / Chimney Stack / Twin Wall Flue System.
1mm Stainless Steel Stove Pipe should NOT be used to pass through ceilings or wall.

CONSTRUCTION
1mm Stainless Steel Stove Pipe is a single skin flue system manufactured in 316 grade stainless steel and is 1mm thick.
Suitable for gas, oil and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 750 degrees C

INSTALLATION
You should not install a piece of 1mm Stainless Steel Stove Pipe within 3 times the diameter of the flue from combustible material, e.g. wood, plaster boards, etc.
A 5 inch (125mm) diameter piece of 1mm Stainless Steel Stove Pipe should be 15 inches (375mm) away from combustible materials.
When installing make sure 1mm Stainless Steel Stove Pipe is installed the correct way up - the smaller convoluted diameter should always be pointing downward.
This is because all the condensates will stay within the flue system and not pass to the outside of Stove Pipe.
Each joint should be coated with a jointing compound (fire cement or high temperature silicone sealant). This makes sure that no condensate can escape and spoil the appearance of the pipe.
Each part should then be secured by using a Joint Clamp Band.

MAINTENANCE
You should make provision for inspecting and cleaning the chimney. This is particularly important on solid fuel applications.
You can acheive this by installing a pipe with an access door.
It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.
